Family ID Registration:

Anyone interested in participating in crew must register on Family ID. (Family ID has not yet opened for the Spring season)

It's important that you have a parent/guardian register you on Family ID for crew ASAP. Registration is mandatory.

Family ID must be completed before you are able to take an ImPACT test, swim test, or participate in crew.

ImPACT Testing:

Impact testing is mandatory before participating in a sport and for freshmen, newcomers, transfers, and those with expired baselines (good for 2 years).

All incoming 9th graders will need an Impact Test before participating in any sport. Upperclassmen, please check with your coaches if you do not know if you need an impact test.

Family ID must be completed before you are able to take an Impact test.

Students must bring their own laptops.

Sports Physicals:

In order to participate in a sport, you must have an updated sports physical on file with the school nurse's office.

Sports physicals are being offered through the School-Based Health Center at MHS on school days. No walk-ins will be accepted. To schedule an appointment for a physical exam, please call the nurse’s office at (860) 704-4590 or students can stop by to make an appointment.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you must fill out the medical release form, which needs to be filled out by a parent/guardian and a doctor. To access the medical release form, please click here.

New athletes who haven't previously taken and passed the swim test are required to do so before the first on-water practice.

Family ID, ImPACT testing, and an updated sports physical must be completed before you can take the swim test.

The swim test consists of swimming 8 laps in the pool, treading water for 10 minutes, floating on your back for 10 minutes, and being able to put on a lifejacket while in the water. There will be lifeguards on duty.

Please bring a bathing suit, towel, and goggles if you need them.

Swim test will be held in the MHS Pool located towards the end of the athletics hallway between the small gym and the band hallway.
